Drivers side air temp sensor

This is interesting I noticed this a while ago, I need to ask BMW why, but anyway.

I am missing the air temp sensor under the hood on the drivers side,it was never there since I bought the car (new) strange huh

what do you guys think ? do I need it should I complain ? or just who cares and keep driving....

I think the one on the driver side is a non-functioning sensor anyway.

Don't complain because they'll laugh.
You only need one temp sensor.

The device that goes on the Driver's side is a hood switch for the alarm.
You don't have this?

Uh i see mine is just not mounted like in riss DIY section mine is on the side still with a tie wrap and stuff lol
