Uninstalled SSTT now I get the Service Light. What to do?

I decided to take off my TT because it felt like I wasn't noticing the power that it should be giving as it was when I first put it on. After I take it off, and start it up I get my service light. Is there a way I can clear it other than bringing it to the dealer?

Are you sure you plugged the Tmap in all the way? Do you just have an ses or a half engine light too?

Did you put the car into sleep mode prior to uninstall? Make sure the TMAP is plugged in fully.

The TMAP sensor is all the way in. At first when I first put it in, it did have the half engine light on. So I double checked it and it was half way in and I fixed it. Then the half engine light goes away but I get the service light.

I opened the hood and locked the car, is that putting the car into sleep mode? And I'm 100% sure the TMAP is fully plugged.

It depends. Minimum you would have to wait is 30s. See here

Thats the thing. I don't want to go to the dealership at all. I don't feel like taking off my air filter and put on the OEM air filter.

Go anywhere. You don't need anything special, just a code reader/clearer.

Alright got the solution. I was driving around just running errands. So I go to Kragen to buy the OBD Scanner. Next thing you know I get in the car. The service light is gone. I think it may have been the car adjusting without the SSTT. Case Closed.

it takes me 5min to do that...what's stopping you?

When you mod the car, you know the risk. Why take the risk into the stealership?

Don't even worry. Buy the SSTT. It's a great product. I just didn't follow some instructions. That was it. Trust me SSTT is worth the money.
