TSB on Worn CAMS???

So I took my car in for service today for the bouncing headlights as well as a the LIMP mode code my car threw yesterday. My SA called me just now and mentions that there might be an issue with my Cams and there is TSB in regards to grooving in the cam shaft causing certain issues, I will get more information when I go to pickup my Loaner after work. He mentioned the fix could range from replacing the cams to possibly replacing the WHOLE MOTOR!!!!!

I am just imagining myself in a loaner for weeks

Has anyone else heard about this TSB?

Also my car is stock except for my coilovers and wheels....

no engine mods *phew*

What did they give you as a loaner? I get a 535 typically, if that's the case it cant be that bad.

I WISH.... doubt it, I am thinking I might get some 328 if I am lucky, I know this dealership does not have a huge fleet of loaners....he mentioned I might get an Enterprise Rent a Pile....

BMW had a run of defective cams for the car, they'll be replaced and you'll be out.
