Clunking noise after installing coilovers!

So just had my coilovers installed in my 2009 bmw 335i, car looks great with my aftermarket wheels, but once I turn slowly in different directions I get a clunking noise from the front of the car, I had one of my mechanic buddy's look at my car and said my control arm bushings are bad, would that be the reason of that noise? Just wanna get some other input before I end up changing my control arms

which coils? if they didn't come with top hats or camber plates and you didn't replace them, its almost certainly the top hats.

it's very very easy to mess up the top hat install on a non ground spring (stock type springs)

front sway bar end links. put the car in park and turn the wheel to each side, if it sounds like metal getting stressed out/bent then that noise is your sway bar end links
