I need a shop in the Sarasota area to perform a PPI on an E46 I'm looking at buying as a track car. Does anyone have a recommendation?

I live in SRQ, unfortunately I will not recommend the Indy shop I use as I am unhappy with recent work they did.

I will highly recommend my performance shop that I use for all my tuning and high performance needs. Tuning Dynamics in Tampa. Talk to Andrew(owner) or Paul (master mechanic). They are serious BMW guys and do great work. It’s worth the drive from Sarasota. I can pm you with more info or if you have questions.

Well, bottom line is they did some work on my rear main seal (twice) due to a vacuum leak. And now I am leaking oil from the work they did. They then tried to say it was the oil pan seal, replaced that and I still had the exact same leak.

I had two other independent shops (one being BMW of Sarasota) look at the leak and determine it was still the rear main seal. I went back to owner of my Indy shop and he trying to say it is the bed plate seal. Keep in mind I had no oil leak issues until they did the rear main seal work. My warranty company who paid a portion of these bill said I am on my own. And I also had a hefty out of pocket expense. I am in a bad spot with trying to get them to fix the issue but they for sure do not want to do the rear main a 3rd time. And honestly I don’t trust them to. Not sure my next move...frustrating

Do you take your BMW there? Saw great reviews for the shop. I’m definitely going to swing by and talk to him.

Sure do, just had an oil change done last week. Had bunch of maintenance done there as well. My uncle works there he runs the shop. Tell them i told you about it on the forum (Max) who knows were it might go.

Viper, I know it's an older post but who did you end up using? Panzer Performance close to the SRQ airport is good. Used them before for my e30
