Cars you regret getting rid of
Well don’t know if there’s a thread about this, I searched but didn’t see much.
Well I regret getting rid of my 1990 e30 m3 , I had the engine built to factory 2.5 spec, so it basically looked like a stock engine. Lol . I also had a 1988 m3 but someone hit me and it was totaled. It’s insane the amount of money e30 m3’s are commanding. Also another car I regret although not a BMW , was my 1991 gmc Syclone, there starting to shoot up in price also. Holding on to my 2005 evo 8, hoping one day it may be worth something! Haha hoping to learn from my mistakes!

I regret getting rid of my 1971 2002 4 speed. It was a heck of a lot of fun to drive and it saw many autocrosses.

1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo. Never ever would have sold it if I didn't need money for grad school. I would buy it back in a second if I could find it in good condition

This one hurts
I regret selling my first vehicle...a 1956 Chevy Truck. I was fortunate to have it a as a “first car” but made a stupid mistake and let it go for only $5k. This was in 1994-95, it’s worth a lot more these days.
She was showroom condition, front to back, truck bed and under the hood. Still stings |

Same here, 1990 E30 M3 diamond black metallic. Bought seven or eight tires at a time from tire rack as this car was so much fun on the track. |

There was a reason to sell them at the time, but I wish I had kept the 1974 3.0S coupe with manual that I had back then. The 1972 2002, manual, was pretty neat also.

I replaced it with my m3 which I now intend to sell this summer. I see their values are holding. I made a big mistake. I had a 2.4. 2.3 is great as well

The m3 is a great car, which model? It’s funny you say that I bought my 2005 evo 8 brand new as it replaced my 1997 m3 4door 5 speed and then one year later got rid of my 90 m3. Don’t regret getting the evo though , it is blast to drive!

2003 E46 with 6 speed. None of my current BMW's matched that cars fun to drive...
My E90 335d was such a POC that I tried Honda ownership for a bit for the reliability, but then realized life is too short to drive an appliance!

1. 2014 MB C63C AMG Edition 507 (6.2 l)
2. 2012 Chevy Corvette Z06 (7.0 l) Two great cars - the last of its kind, with normally aspirated big displacement V8s. I really regret trading these two vehicles! Cheers/B

This hurt me to read. DC2 ITR is one of my all time favorites. Any chance you can buy it back or have you lost track of it?
