Heat Shields for Dual Cone Intakes

What exactly do you think those will accomplish? Those type of heat shields are for radiant heat, which is not the issue with that intake.

ah, ok, thanks for the clarification. I didn't understand what people meant by heat shields for the intakes when they were talking about it in the BMS intake thread...
any clue of what the proper heatshield may look like? |

It would be like a box that surrounds the whole intake. Similar to the stock airbox.....

+1. althought there could be a custom airBOX but i dont think ive seen any.
