Have anyone tried H11 in fog light for E92???
Reason why I ask is b/c H8 and H11 should be closely the same and H11 is available in LED. Not sure if it will throw code at 55W, fill me in guys?

So if we are albe to manage to get H11 to fit in H8 housing it should be okay, since the car is the same, only the housing is different. I read a post where people used H11 HID kit to plug into e92 housing with a slight trim to the housing and it fit.

H11 foglights came standard as part of my M-Tech body kit. At 55W they are brighter than H8 and no code whatsoever.

We hooked up some H11 LED bulbs into a friend's E92 stock front bumper. Just slightly modified the tabs on the H11 bulb, added in some $9 Autozone 25W resistors, and presto - LED foglights working in his car. They're bright & look good and match the headlights perfectly, but they don't shine worth a shit on the ground when driving compared to halogen bulbs.

I have PIAA H11 Yellow Ion for fog.. no error at all....
As far as modifcation goes, I modify the Fog light housing.. just make one of the clip hole a little bigger using drill tool. and so far, I have no moist in the fog housing.
