Strange engine noise
Having trouble diagnosing this noise that emerged over the weekend.
Noise starts around 1200 RPM and does not change when RPMs go higher. Noise usually goes away below 1200 RPM. In this video the noise was present on cold start where the RPMs were around 1000-1100. Recently replaced idler pulley, belt tensioner, and belt. Any and all ideas are appreciated |

I would guess A/C pulley. You can take off your serpentine belt and start the car if the noise is gone it’s one of the pulleys.

Quick update:
Took a stethoscope to nearly everything and the noise is coming from the oil filter area. Will change oil tomorrow to see what's going on |

Found the culprit.
The middle tube piece separated from the cap and was moving around inside the housing. Changed oil, filter, and cap and noise went away |
