Sat. Radio Prep vs Sat. Radio
If I chose to do the prep and later add the actual radio, where will the new radio be located? Will it be another extended unit (similar to the aftermarket?). Or will it be in place as if it was installed from the factory? Can some of you that have experience with the Sirius radio tell me what are the benefits and costs? I haven't tried it yet and really want to see if it's worth the extra $$? I'll drive my car mostly during the weekends though.

I had it retrofitted in my 530i and I love it. The clarity is great as is the variety. The first thing you will notice (and appreciate) is the lack of commercials. You will soon wonder how you suffered through them for so long. Whatever you feel like listening to--jazz, rock, country, classical, hip-hop, talk, sports, everything and from coast to coast (no more fading signals when you leave town). Get it.

Please view this thread. I think your concerns are similar to what I was wondering about when I started this thread.
