e92 speaker upgrade

hello,
i have a 328 e92 without the logic 7 sound system and was wondering if anyone has done any speaker upgrades that would not compromise the space provided already for the stock system.

What are you referring to, speaker upgrade for the mids and tweets? There are a ton here that have done it...

If you want to just upgrade the speakers, price and power are the two impotant factors. How much do you want to spend on speakers and are you willing to add an amp?

Answer those and we could probably point you in the right direction.

I haven't checked up on it recently but Bavarian Sound Works was developing an e9x speaker upgrade. A little pricey I'd imagine.

Are there any speaker choices out there that won't do the oem "popping" at upper volume levels? I really don't know anything about car audio. I just know that its annoying to turn a song down because your speakers are making popping noises with low sounds at high volume.

The popping being referred to is an amp issue. The poor speaker quality and sound issues are almost all amp related. You can upgrade your speakers and get some improvement. Infinity reference 42.7i work and will sound better than stock, BUT WITHOUT AN AMP DO NOT EXPECT IT TO BE GREAT.

Sorry, the OEM amp is underpowered for both the stock system and L7.
