JB3 Beta PNP - my install photos

install was super easy... just access the ecu compartment as always, slide out the 4 oem connectors, slide in the jb3 connectors, and then plug the stock connectors into the jb3 harness... DONE! Only tool I used was a socket wrench to remove the covers to get to the ecu... and then I used a tiny screwdriver to release clips to slide out the 4 subconnectors.

enjoy!

awesome hotrod182!! ... the jb3 unit itself is so tiny, and the harness is so simple with no extra hardware other than the little mapswitch dongle, it makes for a very CLEAN install.

It's not so bad once you mess with the wiring. If you had the old JB1 or JB2 setup, you'll appreciate the PNP.

Looks like a nice setup. Any pictures of what the final hardware unit will look like?

True but the V3 harness is a bit "messy."

LOL...

As I'm fun of both ,may I express my opinion?

I have not yet tested the JB3 but I'm impressed from the "compact" size of the PnP and device. It looks pretty tidy into the ECU compartment.

V3 is an impressive tune in terms of performance & stability BUT the harness is extremely big for the ECU compartment. The Processor still fits perfectly into the compartment's "slot" but the cables are too many and once the install is done, the whole "box" is looking like a real mess. I could barely seal the compartment at the end.

In any case, good job to both tuners , I trust that they deliver 1st quality products.

So what is the price expected to be?

I know this is somewhere else but since the thread is already here, might as well ask
