2009 N54 Air Temperature Sensor Part Number and Location?
Hi,
The half engine light came on today, and the car was in reduced power mode. Stopped the car and connected it to the MHD Flasher app on my phone and got two DME active codes: 2F15 (Charge air temperature) and 3100 (Boost-pressure control, deactivation). I Googled around for a while but it seems like no one really knows what 2F15 is. Then I connected to the regular OBD II reader when I got home and it pulled code P10B8. This code leads to the charge-air temperature sensor. Does anyone know the part number and where it is located? Is it the one on the charge pipe? |

I am not sure but i think the t-map sensor measure's the boost and the air temperature before the throttle. If u are using the stock t-map the number is 13627585493

Update: I have been monitoring the codes in the past few days while waiting for the new sensor to arrive. Interestingly, the error code did not show up on the regular OBD II scanner after I restarted my car, but MHD Flasher was still showing the codes.
I got the part today and just replaced the old one. When looking at the old sensor, I notice the tiny part which appears to be yellow inside the new sensor (see the attached picture) is black. It looks like it got burned. I just cleared the DME codes and will provide another update later. |

I am also experiencing 2F30 along with 2C31 & 2C32 (o2 sensor and lamba control).
I ordered a new TMAP sensor from FCP Euro (hooray for the lifetime replacement), I will install an reset adaptations and see if that resolves the o2 sensor issues as well (before replacing those). My car: 2009 335i N54 single turbo conversion |

Hey, did replacing the tmap sensor fix it? I’m getting those exact codes together at the same time. Thanks |
