Service Woes

I have repeatedly taken my car into service (4 times now) for the squealing brake issue:

Time 1: We dont hear anything

2: It is common of high-performance brakes

3: We will replace the pads under goodwill
-turned out they only did the fronts which werent the issue

4: Replaced the rears under goodwill, and told to relax and suck it up next time it starts squealing.

So, finally the noise is gone. Here are my problems though...

When I got my car back this time, it had 20 more miles on it than when I dropped it out, and 2 and a half less gallons of gas Should I say something about this?

And then they said they reset all the pad sensors, but the backs say 40,000 mi left and the fronts say 28,000 mi left. When I brought it in the first time I thought the fronts were around 28,000. Do you think they just didnt replace them? Or do the front pads only last that long?

Is there a way I can reset the sensor myself to make sure?

Thanks,

Tim

do you not expect us to drive the car hwen it comes in? if your going to bitch about something at least deal with the fact that your car has to be driven to re-enact a problem...just sit back and drive the damn thing its a 2007

Well you obviously misunderstood my post. Im not bitching about it being driven, im just not understanding why there would be 2 and half gallons less in my car and twenty miles (relatively long test drive). It isnt the 10 dollars, its the principle. Dont jump to conclusions and assume im pissing myself because i have to fill up with 10$ more next time, its not a hyundai. Oh no, my reslae value is now 45 cents less because theres 20 more miles on it .And what does it matter that its an 07...?

The brakes squeal..... I've come to accept it. It's the way the compound is. I've found that a few hard stops warms up the pads and it seems to go away for awhile.
