Hey guys, so recently I've had that steering wheel lock thing show up more and more, now it doesn't ever come off the center console until I start driving around. I know the steering wheel column has to be replaced correct? So here are a few more questions...

1. did the dealership have these in stock? or did they have to wait for the part to come in (which means getting a loaner)
2. how many days did you wait for them to complete the install
3. did the replacement work & do you no longer have the problem today.

Took mine in last week. It's a software fix for me and same day drop off/pickup. They could probably do it as a priority since it's safety related.

The new update is great by the way, if you haven't had any for a while.

My settings stays the same. I didn't have it and don't have it now either.

how can you tell the difference?

and could you answer my question about the waiting time for parts if the steering column needs to be replaced?

i want to talk to a service SA but from my experience, its always hard to get through to them. always have to leave messages and have them call you back, but i'm not always available to talk on the phone.
