Your thoughts on Active Autoweke axle back exhaust for the e90

I know there are a lot of reviews out there on this exhaust for the 330/328i. Its just that all of the videos sound a little different. I would be running all stock besides the axle back and a drop in filter with charcoal delete. I want the performance exhaust but im having trouble finding one. Not trying to gain hp. just looking to get close to the performance exhaust sound. Looking for your opinion on the sound. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

I have not heard it in person but the reviews have been positive overall. It really depends on what you are looking for .

I personally have heard the magnaflow muffler in person and it sounded very nice, something that I would nt mind running.

If you are going to be running all stock and just doing a muffler swap then I would go with something cheaper like Rick recommends above. The main benefit of the AA is the anti drone resonance chamber which is vital when you start deleting cats with headers, secondary cats with test pipes, resonator deletes, etc.

The AA design kills the drone from those performance mods. Since you won’t have any drone issues with the set up you describe I don’t think you need such a fancy muffler.

I have the AA muffler btw and love it, and I would not trade it for any other muffler or exhaust system. But I’m fully cat deleted and running headers so I feel like I need it’s features to keep my exhaust system drone under control. This is what my set up sounds like:

Slightly off topic: anyone have a link to an AA Exhaust with mid pipe? Seems like they only have the axle back now.
