Clutch assist?
Not sure about this, or if i'm posting in the right area but i asked a friend that works for BMW about the fact that it doesn't matter how you let off the clutch the car seems to just take care of that itself.
He said that bmw has put a "clutch assist" in their cars that electronically will control the throttle according to the driver to avoid stalling or in my case not allowing a good launch. He said that there is some small piece that can be bought to bypass it, was just curious if anyone knew about it and if it would void warrenty; i'm assuming it would. Any help would be appreciated, and if the wording on this is a little wierd sorry, just let me know if i need to be more clear. |

Maybe he's talking about Cruise Control? I've noticed that if I switch gears while under cruise control the computer will blip the throttle for me so I can mash the clutch or just gently release with my foot off the gas and it'll handle the rest.

^freelance gynecologist my friend is about 400lbs and she has been complaining about some sort of "cheese" down there... should i send her your way? hahaoh and to the op, the stock clutch delay valve is a sort of restrictor in the clutch hydraulic line which slows up the fluid not allowing the clutch to be "dropped". it kind of just engages it slower. a modded clutch delay valve "cdv" will be hollowed out more allowing the hyraulic fluid to pass through faster. best money you can spend on the car if you can drive a manual well and do not need bmw to do it for you.
