Unhappy Any helpful S/W update for my transmission?

Hi, guys. Is there anyone who got his or her e90 325i with automatic trans updated due to the abnormality of transmission shift around 700-800 rpm? My car happens to move weirdly when I slow it down and almost stop it. It's like something hits mine from the front shortly or something happens when you shift transmission awkwardly in manual cars. Moving forth then back roughly. On top of it, I hear some metal crushing noise from under of the front, and rpm(apprx 800-700) needle sways up and down once which is very unusual as far as I know about my car when it happens. When I drive very slowly without shift below 1000 rpm, it doesn't happen. Also Over 1000 rpm, everything's fine. Nothing could be problematic like this. This problem occurs in that particular rpm zone. I suspect it's caused by malfunction while shifting transmission from 2 to 1, vice versa, otherwise somebody said it's by a particular bushing that I can't agree with. It must be involved with transmission, especially s/w. What do you guys think?

Metal crushing noises sound like something bad is happening, I would get it checked out ASAP at the dealer

I took it to the most reliable shops in my place for inspection a couple of times, and all of them said it doesn't seem way too much serious. As far as I searched over the biggest community in my country, Korea, people said they used to have pretty much silmilar problems and it just disappeared after updating a specific S/W for transmission. The problem is I've never seen the owner exactly having a same problem like mine in BMWNA, which means there might be no S/W update or easy to fix remedy at the dealership. Besides, I don't trust the dealership at all since they always recommand me to replace lots of parts without a key point, and that's why I am pushing myself now to have the car diagnosed without the help of my dealership. Once I find a case updating s/w here, then I'll drive it to the dealership with a definite proof.

Have the dealer figure it out as long as you can duplicate it and have warranty.

I found something from the threads. Does PROGMAN V25 really improve the integrity of transmission as well as the version of I Drive? I think I've never updated my car from the dealership after delievery, and it looks exactly what I want if it does. BTW, is that the latest version in BMWNA, V25?

Hmm, Software upgrade is a solution for your problem, I have the same problem. They upgraded my EGS software, and the ECU, shifts are a bit jerky but much better than it used to be. But for the slowing down problem you feel like someone hits you. Its because of the Torque Converter Lockup Clutch. The 6HP-19 Gearbox supports lockup in almost every gear, thus the engine is directly connected and power almost fully instead of being wasted in the liquids. The new programming for the lockup clutch, will disable locking in the first few gears (not sure which gears) and almost eliminate your problem.
