FS: Euro Airbox and Silicone Intake Boot
Selling lightly used OEM Euro Airbox and a silicone intake boot from my 328xi N51 car. Recently sold the car and no longer need these. I bought the Euro Airbox new just under 2 years ago (less than 8k miles) new from ECS Tuning. Purchased the silicone intake boot around the same time, but that saw less use. Euro airbox includes the OEM cone filter (slightly used) and the original euro sensor in the MAF port. Link for Euro Airbox on ECS: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...e/13717552437/ $350 shipped. Direct swap. Bolts and connection points are all the same.

Short answer: US airboxes have a charcoal filter and then a standard flat filter that is replaceable. The Euro airbox has no charcoal filter restrictions and uses a conical filter. The benefit from this setup is that you don't have to remove the entire box from the car to replace the filter (plus a more direct airflow). You can simply just take off the top cover and replace the filter vs having to pull the box and flay it open for the standard US airbox setup. This filter and airbox have maybe 5k miles on them. Includes everything I received from ECS with very light use. Thanks! Last edited by martinm0; 07-02-2019 at 04:20 PM.. |
