No MOT = No Insurance ?
Had a bump with someone this morning, exchanged details ect.. and went off to work. Thought I would check his car to see if it's all legal and turns out that this MOT expired over a month ago
I need a new mirror and the wing needs a bit of attention, I would say no more than £400 to put everything right. His was far worse so I got the impression he want to go down the insurance route. Question I have got here is, will his insurance still be valid ? He's with AXA by the way. |

I'm pretty certain that means their insurance is invalid....
Insurance is based on (amongst other things) a roadworthy vehicle, if said vehicle does not have MOT to confirm that then the insurance is invalid. That said, I'm not sure how that would work with them making a claim against your insurance.... |

In this situation i believe his insurance are obliged to pay for damages & then will try to recover the costs from him directly.
You should be fine but i'm not so sure about him. |
