Active Autowerke Gen1 axleback on x drive

Wondering if anyone can confirm fitment of this on the x drive models. I have a 328xi touring and have found an active autowerke gen 1 axleback for sale but the sales states he thinks it won't fit x drive models. Is anyone able to confirm?

I think the Xi along with the wagon can handle the AA midpipe as well. I could be wrong, but I thought the axlebacks were the same.

I'm sure the length would be the same as the sedan, I'm just unsure of the route it takes to the exit in the bumper.

X drive rear axle/suspension would be the same as rwd you would think

There's a note on their page:

NOTE: This exhaust will only fit the XI (4WD) and Station Wagon Models if purchased with our Mid-Pipe, or welding may be required to join exhaust to stock pipe.
Exhaust system requires cutting of the factory pipe for installation. Dimensions and cutting points are highlighted in the instructions.
Some models have a round tubular pipe that makes the installation seamless. Other models have an oblong shape and will require welding instead of clamping.
And they don't list different versions for the exhaust so it's probably the same with that caveat.
