US oem XENONS

Quick question about US spec Xenons. I'm wondering if the DIY guide available in the DIY forum will allow me to swap to xenons. This is what I currently have:

325i without the xenon option, and just purchased US oem Xenons (adaptive) to my knowledge all US oem xenons are adaptive.

It came with everything bulbs, enclosures, and ballasts.

am I ready to go? or.... is more necessary... I believe I should be, but I'm not sure how that adaptive feature works... i've heard it won't work since I don't have that option on my car.... but if thats the case I hope the lights don't shift left and right because nothing is "making them face a certain direction"... since they can turn at an angle.

Thanks!

not all US oem xenons are adaptive. I have the US oem xenon option, but they are not adaptive. You have to pay extra for the adaptive ones.
