Tiny Tiny Door ding !

AAA!!! I just found a tiny door ding on my passenger side door. The ding is really small such that its hard to notice but under the right angles/lighting is easily visible. Its small but annoying the hek outa me . How are these small dings repaired? If I cant do it myself, is there someone in the bay area/silicon valley that you guys can recommend for this fix?

Thanks

i think PDR aka Paintless Dent Removal can help you. go search your area, they can make dents almost invisible with spacial tools working from the inside of dented area.

I've got the same issue on the lower side of the passenger door -

I plan on PDRing it. Approximately $50 - 75 for a quarter size ding. Thank god no paint scratch from it.

Nobody knows its there but me. . . . and it still annoys the hell out of me after I wash it and catch it in the right light.

Thanks SpeCc, Ill def contact that guy if I cant get it out. The depth of the ding is very very minimal. This is one of those that appears to be just a ding to the clear coat. Its very shallow so its hard to even make out in the light but the reflection in the clear coat reveals the dip in contour. I dont even think theres really much of a surface dent so you cant really just pull this one out. Tonight im about to try a heater/airduster fix on it. Ill post up some pictures hopefully if my camera can catch the ding. (And hopefully there wont be one after im done ).

Sigh... poor lighting ill have to try to take some pics some other week. I tried using a hair dryer and dry ice/ air duster on this dent but its too small that the forces required are just too great. I think the diy would work on bigger dents where you can actually freeze just the dented spot. I think i may have to go pdr but wait till i get some more dings.

Does the hair dryer / air duster /dry ice technique damage paint? Can it?

YUP! DENT IS FIXED ! I ended up having PDR fix it. As for the dry ice and air duster, those are probably for larger medium sized dents. Too bad tho.. it took the guy like 1-2 mins. I really wish i could do it myself.. but yea 50$ is worth that piece of mind.

I have a dent right where the door crease follows the handle the size of a pen cap. I cannot stand looking at it when I wash my car. My dealer works with a dent remover and it should run about $50. Annoying soccer mom's in their damn SUVS with kids probably. I try to park far away.
