someone bumped my bumper anyone know where to fix?

some idiot as i was parked underground waiting in line to get the ticket for parking...

he was in a dodge durango with a bush gard.... hit the corner of my bumper..

i have no idea how he did it cause clearly he could see me..

his excuse was his feet were tired....either way got insurance and all..will definetly figure something out...

left a big dent..and a minor crack down the middle...all and all it just looks ugly..but it aint that bad...

most ppl said it is able to pop back out..but the crack will be there obviously....anyone know a good place to do all this so that its just as flawless as can be again.. amd a rough estimate on price?

i would take it up with insurance but have a 1000 dollar deductable...wasteeeeee ..

..SO GAY!

Did you head to the collision reporting centre?

If you are going through insruance (his fault anyway), you need to do it.

If they can fix your bumper, then it's like $3-500 for repaint, depending on who you use. If it is cracked, you probably need a new bumper, in which case will probably be over 1k.

yea, hopefully you got his insurance and everything...head over to the collison reporting center and then you can file a report. after that, call you insurance agency and give them the report number. they should handle everything for you and you shouldnt have to pay a dime...since you were hit from the back.

Depending on the severity of it, this guy may be able to fix it: Tony's Touch Up (416-473-7229). He's done a great job fixing a couple of minor mishaps with my bumper.

If other driver is deemed 100% at fault you should not have to pay any deductible - only thing is sometimes weird rules apply when you are in a parking lot but your insurance company will let you know - the only fix is full replacement which will run about $1500 including paint - just go thru the dealer body shop - and switch over to mtech bumper so at least you gain something for all the trouble.

OP - I was rear ended on the QEW (at about 10km/h only) so it left a small scratch. I cleared it with my insurance - other guy was 100% at fault and so my deductible is waived my company said.

Myself I'm using York Mills Automotive as that's the shop Parkview sources all their body shop work to.

It must suck when your car got scarred so soon

I was told they are not the main shop Parkview uses. The shop they typically use is European autobody or something in Etobicoke (or was it Oakville?)

I've had one guy reverse into me in a parking lot and been rear ended twice. First time the bumper was replaced (about $1400), the next time it was just scratched to it was repainted (about $500) and the last time it had some indentations so it was repaired and repainted ($800). The first time the other party paid directly, the other 2 insurance picked up the bill.

I had all the work done at don valley auto collision and they did a great job each time. As ctgazer said if you are going through insurance go to the collision reporting centre and talk to your insurance company asap.
