I spoke to Dinan last week to get a clarification on this issue. Non Dinan mods do not necessarily void the Warranty. If a Warranty claim is made and the stealership or Dinan determines the fault is due to another mod then Dinan will not cover that repair. They told me that exhausts (cat deletes not included) are fine and they had no issue with air intakes. They said most problems they seen are with blow off valves. I plan to put exhaust on my car and think the Dinan price is a bit high so I will go with something else.
Not to be a consipiracy theorist, but should a major melt down occur and you have a bunch of mods, they (dinan/dealership) may fins a way to blame it on your other mod(s).

Where are the Dinan proponents? Usually they're pretty good at scanning for these threads...

They said my spearco fmic will actually benefit the car. Never asked about the intake. Shouldnt be too hard to take off before dealer visits though. My friend is a SA at my dealer so that helps.

As a dinan head..... I run bastuck/no2ndcats quads...... they are surely fine as any aftermarket exhaust is cool with dinan, as I was told.
I'm sure the spearco intercooler is fine (as only this one) since dinan bought the rights to spearco, thats why u don't see it sold much anymore. I was in the market looking for one, since it's cheaper and I rather rep spearco in my front mount piece! As for intakes/bov, they can be removed within.......... 20-30mins, who would have to know |

that one should be fine too right? is that pretty much identical to the dinan / standalone spearco one http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ighlight=code3 I plan on getting Dinan stg2 soon with bastuck quad with 2nd cat deletes like you and run the code3 spearco fmic but if warranty is voided, i mind as well go for JB3 and get as much power outta this n54 as possible.
