daytime running lights led

Hello, a topic that is probably done to death but I would like to see if anyone has had any experience with the 8 led bulb on the e9x cars with the xenon setup.

Concede it'll never be as bright during the day as those led halo where you retro fit and replace the oem halos.

Get what you pay for mate
Don’t expect much for $65
Better off buying a set of quality bulbs like Cree

Good point, those Cree bulbs offer good visibility during daytime driving?

What i always found funny was that LED bulbs always made the inner ring shine brighter. The LED manufacturers blame the BMW design. The fact is that the rings were designed for a halogen bulb that emits light in a certain pattern. You need to replicate that pattern in an LED to have the same affect. Most, if not all LEDs dont do this well

I’ve pulled apart lots of headlights and the glass AEs just act like a crude fibre optic cable. The best look is to replace with LED rings. Bavgruppe sell good quality LED rings that don’t burn out like cheap EBay ones 👍
