Because I know the bullshit dog and pony show China is putting on to make the world think that they are reformed. They are not. China has and will be the biggest human rights violator ever to exist (well next to Sudan and Zimbabwe). The fact that they still censor all media is proof. Ask yourself this question, would you be outraged if the Olympics were held in Darfur? Yes? Then why China?

I also don't like that they rounded up thousands of animals to be killed in preparation of the games.

I avoid Chinese products when I can. Obviously, there are circumstances beyond my control when it comes to electronics but even then I'm only avoiding a small facet which is the Olympics.

I will kick it up a notch and perhaps avoid Chinese food AND people to make up for it.
