Need Help ...wheels not balanced
Just mounted my Iforge Daytona's with Nitto Invo's and I'm having troubles with the balance of the Wheels.
When I first had them mounted they had a little vibration. The place I had them mounted was not availiable so I took them to discount tire. They rotated and balance to 0. First time, ....still ...vibrations. Second time, again the wheels balanced to 0 and still vibrations over 60+ mph ...at time even at lower speeds. The Machine they had spins them at 30mph....that kind of seems low to me. should I find a place that has a machine that spins them at higher speed when balancing or does it matter??? What are my options?? What could the problems be?? Thanks

Call around and find a place that uses a RoadForce balancing machine. It presses a weight against the tire while spinning it to simulate the load of actually being on a car. I've heard of a number of members here who have managed to get rid of their vibration problems by going this route.

do these rims have the proper centerbore? or do they needed centering rings?
rims that balance out fine on the machine but vibrate at speed can be due to a bent rim, or missing centering rings. the latter is more likely than the former.

Good point, our 3'ers use a 72.6mm centerbore.

Like Greg mentioned, try to find a place that has a road force balancing machine, or places that do ride matching. If you go to Tire Rack's website, you can look up mounting shops in your area and Tire Rack actually lists the type of equipment they have and if they're able to road force balance your wheels.
For example, if you click the this link, you can see this installer in Seattle has a Hunter GSP9712 State-of-the-Art RoadForce balancer.

I believe the iforge are hubcentric so I don't think they need a hub ring....I will double check to see if they fit snuggly.
I don't believe the rims to be out of round. I will try to find a place that uses the roadforce balancer in seattle. Thanks for all the help.

Im sure you already know that if your tires are new, you will hear some rumbling at certain speeds, and possibly even feel it until those new treads wear down. Your problem doesn't seem to be this though. Its probably a fitment problem

I did a measurement and the hub spacing is tight....so they are hubcentric.
Today I made an appointment with Tru Line in Seattle. The person I talked to said they will probably rotate and balance while the wheels are still on the car. He said they can rotate the tire at high speeds up to 100 mph! ...wow! I hope it goes well and the problem gets fixed. Thanks for the referral Ty@Velocity! Thank for the help all...I will keep you updated.
