Weather / door seal replacement e90

Anyone tackle this ? My driver door body seal is rotting. Is it glued on ? What's the story before i start ordering parts .

From what I have seen on my cars and others I’ve worked on,

They use an adhesive tape to stay on.

The seal on the actual body of the car slides into the pinch weld.
The seal on the door is glued on/taped on.

Not sure if new ones come with the adhesive already or not.

When I replace them, I use just use glue to hold it back on.

Looks like the replacements do come with the adhesive to just stick on the door.
