VMR sizing for 335xi
Ive been thinking to buy the style V710 for quite a while now and I see many different fitments that people have been running. In my location there is currently a set for sale. I understand that the rim size seems to be how everyone is running on Xdrive. However, I have seen mixed offsets as everyone seems to be using different offsets. Please tell me what is the correct offsets I should be purchasing or are these just fine. Thanks in advance.
I currently have an 07 pre lci model if that affects anything. Size as follows: Wheel Size: 19x8.5J Front Wheel Size: 19x9.5J Rear Offset: 35 Front Offset: 40 Rear CB: 72.6 (Hub Centric) Bolt Pattern: 5x120 Finish: Matt Black Tire Size: 235/35ZR19 93W Front Tire Size: 265/30ZR19 93W Rear Brand/Model: Antares A1(Ultra High Performance) |

Those sizes will be a direct fit, so you're good to go there. However the tire sizes are a bit off for an xDrive car. You won't necessarily have major issues, but the front and rear diameters are 0.8% different.
With xDrive we like to keep them well below 1% and as close to 0% as possible. Switching the front tires to 225/35-19 and keeping the rears the same would put you at 0.2%, while switching the rears to 275/30-19 and keeping the fronts the same would put you at an even better 0.1%, although a rear fender roll may be required with 275s. I'd be much more comfortable with either situation than with the current 0.8% difference. --Dylan
