Is this a good deal on a used 2008 335xi?

2008 335xi, arctic metallic coupe w/black interior, 5k miles on it

Options include:
Sport Package
Steptronic Auto
Premium
PDC
Navi
Cold Weather Package
Paddle shifters
Comfort Access
XM Traffic

$42,400 out the door.

Oh yeah - no front plate in it either.

Yes? No?

E90 or E92?? Either way that's like $7K off MSRP... so i'd say good deal.

I suggest you test drive it first...also find out why the person trade it in?? if its financial reasons, it would be a great deal cause its pretty much fully loaded...also, find out if the low financial rate applies here if you finance.

Yes it includes all taxes, title; everything.

It's not a trade-in. It's a demo car I think. I did test drive it and it seems to drive just fine...

If its a demo, you should be entitled to the .9% financing then! Is the car CPO'd too?

It's not actually from a BMW dealership so I would have to finance it myself..

I didn't know BMW is offering 0.9 APR. If that's the case, do you think it's better to buy new or can I still get BMW financing even if the car is not from a BMW dealership?

You will be better off getting a new one WITH the .9 APR. .9 APR is from BMW dealerships only.
How did a demo car show up in a non-BMW dealship?? I'm guessing its not a demo car.

There's the $64,000 question...

I have no idea how this dealer got the car. He said he gets them at high end auctions; like all other used car dealers.

I'm guessing it might have been a demo vehicle that never sold, and BMW shipped it off to be auctioned.

I mean it doesn't even have holes for a front license plate..

I can careless about "No holes for front license plate". I'm more concern about the original of the car. Its an 08,why was it auction off already?? Why would a BMW dealership not CPO the car and have it in the used section?? I would do the due diligence and find out the trail of this car first. Ask them for any paperwork and check the VIN out via Carfax. You not spending $40 dollars here, its 40k+ of hard earning dollars.
