Cheat Marks?

Hi All,

Over the past 12 months since I bought my E90 where I polish/wax every weekend, I have ended up with what we call here in Aussie - Cheat Marks.

They are the white powdery polish residue that find their way into places where you typically can't get a polishing rag to get out, like joining surfaces.

Is there a sure bet in getting rid of this residue?

Cheers
Fritzables.

Clay? Lube it well and work it in there.

Not exactly an answer to your question, but if you didn't polish every weekend, you wouldn't have this problem Even waxing every weekend is an overkill.

find a very very soft but stiff brush the size of a toothbrush, the bristles can get into those tough to get at spots. just be careful and don't let the bristles to get on the visible paint surface as they will mar.

you can also wrap a MF around a credit card and poke that into the crease.

and next time you polish / wax use painters tape to tape off the areas you don't want to the product to get on.

Thanks guys,

Yea, I know, I tell myself it doesn't need waxing that often but just can't help myself :-)

Thanks for the tips, will go through all and select the most effective - obviously tape is the way to go but assume it takes some time to put in place.

Fritzables.
