Are these available now? I have brand new unmounted flow formed arc-8 at home but I want these now instead. The struggle!

I see the 18" ARC8R barrels were redesigned for more BBK fitments-
Are the high offset 17 inch wheels getting more accommodating barrels? 355mm BBK fitment possible now on the 17x9 +42 like it is on the +30? |

The APEX site maps out all of the features and benefits our new forged wheel line has to offer, as well as the different fitments that will be available. Fitments within the first phase of production are already available for pre-sale with a loose delivery date of December, and fitments in the second phase will be available for pre-sale in early Q4. We appreciate the support. It was certainly a long road, but more than anything we wanted to ensure that our new forged line delivered something of value to the enthusiast community. Quote:

TYSPEED + APEX Forged The Tyspeed team has been running our FL-5 flow formed wheels on their BMW M2 race car for a few seasons with plenty of success stories logged in the books. Over the years, Tyler and his team have been dead-set on chasing the bleeding edge of performance, and along the way APEX has been right by their side with an identical goal in mind. APEX is proud to support Tyspeed’s efforts in persistently chasing that next level of performance. When we heard that Tyler and his team were invited to tackle the 2019 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, we knew it was a perfect opportunity to arm them with a set of our all-new polished 18” ARC-8R forged wheels in a wide 18x10.5” ET40 rotatable square configuration. Putting the ARC-8R in front of thousands of spectators came with the risk of exposing our all-new forged wheel design before the official release, but we couldn’t pass on the opportunity to put these wheels through their paces during one of the most demanding races of the season. A race to the clouds! These forged wheels clear the massive Stoptech 6 piston 380mm brakes mounted on the M2 race car with ease, and with an impressive 1,800 lbs load rating, they will provide more than enough strength and durability to keep up with the grueling demands set forth by Tyler and his team. To learn more about the Tyspeed BMW M2 race car, complete with a full build-breakdown, check out the blog post on our website.

So I guess I'm waiting till Q4 for 19", but what "exact fitment" specs should I be looking for with a 2011 E90 328i LCI for the EC7R. I'm a little afraid of the price, but when the pricing comes out I want to know which ones I should be shopping for.

In regards to 19" fitments for an E90 LCI, you have few options depending on your personal preferences. I've listed the staggered fitments below: The following two options encompass rear wheel fitments with LCI specific offsets to prevent rubbing. They are bolt-on fitments. Option 1: Front: 19x8.5" ET35 - 235/35-19 Rear: 19x9.5" ET45 - 265/30-19 Option 2: Front: 19x9" ET30 - 235/35-19 Rear: 19x9.5" ET45 - 265/30-19 ** You can also increase tire widths to 245/35-19 front and 275/30-19 rear, however, a small amount of negative camber or fender roll may be required depending on tire brand and vehicle ride height. --- The following three options encompass rear wheel fitments with non-LCI specific offsets, but they can be used on LCI models if a flush rear fitment is desired. A small amount of negative camber or light fender roll may be required depending on tire brand/size and vehicle ride height. Option 3: Front: 19x8.5" ET35 - 235/35-19 Rear: 19x9.5" ET35 - 265/30-19 Option 4: Front: 19x9" ET30 - 235/35-19 Rear: 19x9.5" ET35 - 265/30-19 Option 5: Front: 19x9" ET30 - 235/35-19 Rear: 19x10" ET33 - 265/30-19 - Ryan

Front 9JX19 ET:29 Tires: Achilles 255/35/19 Rear 10JX19 ET:40 Tires: Achilles 275/35/19 Fitment for me is pretty much perfect (for me). I don't tuck as I have it lowered on Eibach Pros only enough that these rims still follow the edge of the fender well without covering their profiles any. Would that make option 4 the most ideal for my case? Any thoughts if I moved to PS4s tires with the new wheels? Last edited by bluewater328; 08-21-2019 at 03:35 PM.. |

Hi Everyone,
We have recently restructured the original post to assist in bringing a bit more clarity to our new Forged wheel options. Specifically, we have now categorized and labeled the photos in the post by design and finish. We have also added a couple of studio videos featuring both the ARC-8R and the EC-7R, which should give a much better idea as to the appearance of the new designs and finishes. Please stay tuned, as we have an abundance of new and exciting photos and videos that we plan to add to this thread in the near future. -Geirsen

OMG that Brushed clear is just stunning to look at. Any chance you have a pic of it on a TiAg car?
So am I reading this wrong or are you guys making the EC-7 now in a 17" wheel? I was so close to pulling the trigger on some 17" ARC-8's in hyperblack and now I am really considering spending almost 2x on EC-7's. I'd love to see any more photos you guys have! |

Is a 17x9 et30 too aggressive on a Pre-LCI RWD wagon? Assuming a 255 tire all around, is 8.5 actually a better option? Last edited by dakine_surf; 08-26-2019 at 06:29 PM.. |
