Is it hard to install d1s bulbs?

You can even manage to install the bulbs without taking off the wheel too.

yes it is easier if u take off the wheel
especially for E92 one
e90's one is easier than the E92

The hardest part is taking off the wheel and wheel well, other than that they are plug and play.

i did it a couple weeks ago.

i took the wheels off and it was muchhhh easier, dont even bother doing it with the wheel on. took me 30 mins on the first side and then the second side took 15

i was asking because i have to take the bumper off the install the lower grills and thought while it was off what else i could do

Its pretty straight forward, no need to take off the front bumper.
When the dealer changed out my bulbs, i dont understand why they kept insisting on taking off the front bumper. Seemed like a giant waste of time
