Congratulations. Homeownership is definitely a major accomplishment. I was a little older at 29 when I bought my first place. You definitely have more space than our first place

We just moved into a new home a few months back. Its always a great feeling.

This may resurrect the "Cribs" thread.

Nice job! Living in Cali, I can only dream of being able to live in a home like that. Right now, I can only buy homes in other states and let other people live in them.

Werd. I heard that from several family members and friends that have built houses over the years. Not that all of them have had this particular problem but builders don't follow the same procedures as they used to with basements. I believe back in the day they would dig the basement and pour the foundation and let it sit for a couple months before actually building the house. Now your lucky if the foundation is down more then a couple weeks before the house is built, which is great for turn around times, but horrible for foundations.

BTW Congrats on the new pad. My fiance and I just moved into our newly remodeled home this weekend, we took the kitchen and both bathrooms down to the studs and rebuilt it all before moving in. Thank god its over, soooo tired haha. Anyways, I'll be sure to post pics after our wedding in a couple weeks and buy our new furniture and stuff.
