Beta tester here....got my Jb3 installed, about to take it for a spin

Install was a breeze, Terry was helpful with some questions I had, just trying to be extra careful

edit: 6/08 build date, v81, downpipes + intake, steptronic

no check engine lights, letting the car warm up

so far so good, had to set the clock back because disconnecting the battery cleared it....pretty easy to fix

Hope you have a fun drive, i know my first drive with jb3 was a holy shit moment and all i have is an intake and quads. With down pipes your car is going to scream brotha. Be safe but make sure to enjoy some WOT

car feels GREAAATTTT, I'm running v81 w/ downpipes, terry said do so at your own risk, but no CEL's so far, just lots of power and pulls so smoooth

Took a few miles for my system to adjust after the ECU reset, but the car feels oustanding, I couldn't be happier

It isn't going to throw any CELs... It will be a hidden code that the dealer or BMWNA will see and tell you to take a hike.

When BMW says theres a hidden code on your car and your car has stock DP's and ECU you can tell them to eat your pee pee as if they dont have proof of modifications they cant do a damn thing... I am so envious of everyone who's gotten their JB3's already. I missed the email and didn't order mine until late that night so I'm sure I'm in for a bit of a wait. Glad to hear you like it, I will have to live vicariously though all you beta guys for now..

Its not a "hidden code" it has been verified several times that it is a CEL

I could care less about my warranty... I was correcting what was being said.

And what you said is untrue. If they see the code and look at your data... You would have obviously done something to throw it. Reinstalling stock parts after the fact does nothing. BMW wouldn't care.
