Bilstein B14 Suspension on xdrive
Hello everyone,
I have a bilstein b14 suspension left over from my last car. It has 3000km on it so its basically brand new and I had it on my 120D e87. I since then bought a 2010 320D xDrive E92 and my question now is can I take the coilovers from my e87 and put them on my 320D? From what I saw its the the coilovers have the same code both for the e87 and for the e92 but it doesn't specify anywhere that its for an xdrive so I'm not sure if it will work. Thank you. P.S: 47 120471 is the code for the kit |

AFAIK Bilstein does not make an Xdrive kit for this platform.

From what I can remember I think the suspension on the e87 compared to the e92 xdrive where basically the same from an optical point of view, I guess the difference is the different spring rates and so on. Or am I mistaken?

IIRC the front suspension on the Xdrives is different from the RWD models.

@[9krpmrx8] , thank you very much. I have to work at my suspension this weekend and I'll try and see if there are big diferences. I talked to a mechanic and from his knowledge the top bushing is different from the non-xdrive version.
