Has any one tried the Samsung T809?

Hello all. I just got my 06 325i and I have been trying to get my Samsung t809 (tmobile) to work perfectly with my car. The phone would pair but when it rings its just static, i cant hear the person calling and the person cant hear me too, then the phone would automatically disconnect. I really dont know whats going on. I called my advisor and all he could say was that my phone is not on the recommended list. Thing is this phone just came out last nov/dec. Can someone please help me. Thanks in advance

I also have it with T mobile...It does not work w/ our car. I was pretty pissed when I found out because I paid so much for the phone. I ordered a motorola SLVR unlocked a few weeks ago and it has been working great. I still have to get rid of the 809 though, prob. just ebay it.

ditto. i tried to pair my friends t809 to the car and it wouldnt work. i wonder if bmw will send updates that would include newer phones.

Where did you get you slvr phone and if you dont mind me asking- How much did you get it for. I might have to change my phone. Its annoying cos I just got the 809 and I love the phone. Problem is I love the hands free feature in my car and would not be 100% happy until i can get it to work.

I got mine off ebay...unlocked...I'll try to see if I still have the ebay store name

oh yeah, it was about 240.00, not bad as you prob. payed over $100.00 more for the samsung!

mine and my wife's T809 from T-mobile is working... you can't see the phonebook only if you copy it to the SIM on the phone, but then you will have double entries in the phone's phone book.

BTW my car is a Feb 06 delivery so I don't even have the latest softwares. Who knows may be that is why it works.
