I have a 2007 e90 335 w/step. Just installed BMW Performance Steering Wheel.

Whats working: I am getting power to the steering wheel...When turning on the car the steerinig wheel performs the self test.

Problem: Information that is to be sent to the steering wheel is not being shown...i.e. Coolant Temp/Oil Temp/G-Meeter etc. The dislays work but not getting any information.

Possible causes: Bad Control Module that comes with the kit / Bad wiring harness / Incorrect wiring diagram(BMW notorious for this) / Incorrect wiring on my part.

If you have the BMW Performance steering wheel I would perfer for people with 335 with 07 build dates respond to this who have experience installing it.

Finally..for those that have this steering wheel...Is there supose to be a audiable tone coming from the steering wheel when you first start the car? Most videos I've seen you can hear this.

Bottom Line is there something here I'm completely missing associated with 07 e90s? Need to know is there something I'm missing that the instructions don't cover.
If any of you know anybody that has installed the BMW Performance Steering Wheel on a 2007 335 e90 w/Step please put me in contact with them ASAP!
