Anyone stuck at the port awaiting a ship?
Been waiting for my BMW for a while. The OC and the 800# both say the car is at the port awaiting a vessel and no tracking info has been provided.
Car Ordered 3/11 Scheduled for production 3/20 (dealer email) Produced not shipped 3/24 (dealer email) Awaiting Transport 3/28 (OC, 800#) Still Awaiting Transport 3/31 (OC, 800#) At port awaiting transport 4/1 (dealer email, OC, 800#) The car is being shipped to NY what is the hold up here? |

Go to www.2wglobal.com, "cargo tracking" at the bottom right, "auto cargo" and then enter your VIN as the ID number. This will tell you if your car is aboard a ship yet. Note that it usually takes 2 days after loading onto the ship for your VIN to show up.

Tried that
I have been trying to do that on the shipping site, also I looked at the schedule for when the ships are leaving. The next 2 ships (Manon and Elektra) are both scheduled to leave Bremerhaven on April 6 and arrive in New York April 18 and 20 respectively. Hopefully my car will be on one of those ships.
