Champagne Carbon

With my wedding coming up shortly and as a huge F1 fan I decided it appropriate to procure a bottle of Champagne Carbon for our first toast and Mr and Mrs. It's a pretty awesome feeling being one of the first people in the US to have this.

It's a cured carbon fiber layer on the outside of the bottle. For it to be considered champagne, it has to be put in a very specific glass bottle.

I pulled some strings and got a deal, but anywhere from $200 to $400 a bottle depending on the cuvee/type.

That as well. It can't be in just a bottle made from carbon fiber, it has to be glass and from a select number of manufacturers. They can however, add to the bottle.

For me, the bottle itself is worth the price! But I will definitely fill people in on the taste.
