Description
The Evolution Racewerks N54/N55 E chassis intercooler is a massive high density bar and plate core (26.5"x5.5"x6" with end tanks). The ER FMIC is 35% larger than stock which allows it to keep the intake air temperature (IAT) significantly lower than stock intercooler. On top of keeping IAT as close as possible to ambient level, the ER FMIC recovers extremely fast after a full throttle. The ER FMIC does not heat soak after pulls; it is the perfect choice for a track car or any user looking to take his car to the limit. This intercooler supports car with up to 600 whp ,it is very likely that this is the last intercooler you will use on your BMW.

Piping
Stock piping is made from rubber hoses which expands under boost and disrupts air flow. When you replace the OE piping with the ER hard piping you are allowing air to move easier which causes faster spool and better turbo response. The Evolution Racewerks piping has less bends which allows air to move faster.

Efficiency
The Evolution Racewerks intercooler sits underneath the radiator to take full advantage of the radiator fan. This makes for maximum efficiency.

Options:
Evolution Racewerks intercooler is offered in a standard polished finish. You have the option to change the finish to brushed or anodized black for a stealthier look.
