Placed my order today!
I got a tracking number already and the dealer said the build date is this week. Not sure how, but he said my car replaced another that was already on the list that is how I got it going so far. He said 4-5 weeks I will have my car. After reading the sticky, I really don't see how that is possible?
Am I wrong? Thanks, Curt |

Your dealer probably had someone that had ordered a car and decided to bail on it for whatever reason(s) and they just leap-frogged your order to that allocated build date and modified the order to your specification since they can change nearly 100% of the options before the car hits the assembly line.
4-5 weeks is very realistic if the car finishes production in the next 7 days. |

It's entirely possible. I ordered my car on 2/28, my CA had one in the pipeline to be built in first week of March.
Picked it up on March 30th. Congrats, you'll love it |

Yes I got the options on the other post. Thanks so much for the words of encouragement about the time frame. I am a little excited. Was trying to chill about it, but I just can't wait to have a car that I am into again. Wow, in a month, I may have my car. That is great. I will just keep my fingers crossed.

Congrats!!...what are the specs? 4-5 weeks is absolutely doable at your stage, don't forget production takes about a week and the voyage shouls be another 2 weeks.
If your dealer/CA is good he might be able to 'expedite' things at the POE and even at the VPC/VDC. My CA tells me the volume a dealership does do have some weight as well as good relationships with relevant people at the ports/centers. Let's just hope you don't run into delays at the VPC/VDC.... And trust me, the wait is worth it...makes the car that much more special than choosing off the lot. There are a lot of 'activities' to help you while the wait like ship tracking etc.

Well I know it at least scheduled for production. After the holiday, I hope it will be awaiting transport. Man I can't wait.
