Stock Diverter Valve Failure...help to diagnose pls

Currently running MHD Stage 1+ with no flash on the tranny, stock diverter valves with a VRSF chargepipe.

In D and DS mode during shifts at and above 5500 rpms with 70% to WOT feels like there's boost surge and too much hesitation in the tranny before the next gear accelerates. Almost like a mini spike in rpms during the shift.

Is this a possible problem with a stock tranny map when running higher boost or too much psi for the stock DV's to escape during the shift?

I'm worried there's blowback possibly going to the turbos that's going to cause a early mechanical failure.

I run stock diverter valves on both cars but use XHP stage 3 and let the tranny shift at 7K and 20psi with no issues ever. Just get XHP stage 3 and see if it helps but posting a log is the first place to start.

You probably have throttle closures (compleeeetely speculative).
That said, logs are your friend and will tell you whats going on. Post some.

I doubt its a hardware issue, and probably throttle closures/timing corrections. Do you have any logs?

I run my 170k mile stock diverter valves pretty damn hard.

I would really doubt that's your issue. Log log log.

I would absolutely tune your trans though, you're leaving a lot on the table without. Buy an xhp license and get with my friend Rod Sutphin for a trans tune, wholly better than xhp ots stuff. You'll be flat out amazed with the difference.
