Minnesota winters?
While it disturbs me to even start thinking about winter, here it goes. I'm new to Minnesota (TC area). Lived in southeast WI for many years, so I'm well versed in driving in snow, etc.
Question is - when do I have to start thinking about putting my snows on? In Milwaukee I could usually go deep into December before we got any really cold weather/meaningful snowfall. What's the norm up here? Can you make it to Thanksgiving, or is end of October about the furthest you want to push it on summer rubber?

i'm going to do it nov 1st just in case but really no matter where you are, you gotta go by the weather.... it could be 60 deg. in november so then you could probably wait a little longer.

I would say we can make it to Thanksgiving for sure....but you never know. I don't have a specific date picked out, I'll just wait till the weathermen start saying snow is expected. We usually don't get snow till sometime between Thanksgiving and mid/late December though. It only takes 15 minutes to swap rims so I don't really need to plan a specific day for it.
