Peter Pan BMW
So I got a call back from the sales manager offering me 2000 over invoice for a 2009 335i pre-order. I previously offered 1000. He made an excuse on how it is a 2009 335i coupe and that its manual... I called him back after and said 1000 was the most I would pay and immediately his tone changed. "Well then, you're not buying the BMW coupe." Are most dealers trained to say this? Seems a bit greedy to me IMO.. So tomorrow, I'm going to Fremont to see if I can get a better deal and service. Just my opinion, but personally, I wouldn't recommend Peter Pan BMW.

just do this from now on, send an e-mail to 5-6 dealerships and do business with the one who agrees to your price from the start

Peter Pan's Sales Reps are known to be a little rude.
I, personally, got my e90 at Fremont. My Sales Rep. was fairly nice. When I went back a few days later to have them fix a trunk problem, it almost seem like they didnt care anymore to truly please me anymore. I do still like them better than Peter Pan though. Just my .02

+1 to him, he gives you no bullshit when it comes to pricing and is flexible to an extent. The only thing about him was delivery took 2 hrs =(.... I think they ran it through the washing room a couple of times...my delivery was march 2007

Peter Pan's Sales Reps are not friendly to me too. I got a better deal for my 2008 335i Coupe at BMW of Fremont. They also have nice people in the parts department.

I will also echo what others have said about Peter Pan BMW. I thought the sales folks there were rude and acting like they were doing me a big favor spending time with me. They were also very unyielding on the price. Went to Weatherford BMW instead, and didn't suffer from buyer's remorse afterwards.

I thought the title of this thread was a joke. I'd hate to ride around with a Peter Pan sticker on the back of my car. Do the sales staff wear green tights?
Besides having a stupid name, they sound like they suck as a dealership

If i recall correctly, the original owner was of Greek heritage and Pan is a shortened version of the actual name. When I was test driving 5ers end of 2004, they just handed us the keys and said see you later.
However, up until recently, all of their radio ads mentioned family owned business, don't answer to shareholders... Now the ads state that they are a member of the Penske Auto Group. Change in ownership, change in attitude? |
