Ethanol content at Conserv Fuel in West LA

Anyone here who lives in LA particularly in West LA that fuels up at Conserv Fuel on San Vincente Blvd know what the true ethanol content is of let's say a e60 mix?

I don't have a ethanol analyzer and my concern is if i do a "e60" blend and tune for that but the real output is really e55.

I know i should just buy one but if someone has a ethanol analyzer and share data that would be appreciated since that the only e85 station on the Westside.

You realize that all you need to test the ethanol content is a small tube with measuring marks and some water?

Not sure I'm going to do a manual beaker test on the spot but I guess thats possible.

Ethanol content will change every time the in ground tanks are re-filled. Even if someone knew what the content was today, it doesn't mean it'll be the same the next time. Testing at every fill up is the only true way to know. There is a Flex Fuel option by the way, just need to spend more money on parts and an appropriate tune.

You really don't have to put that much thought in to it. Fuel trims won't change that much +-10% change in ethanol content. Any variance will be compensated by fuel trims. Also the majority of octane benefits come once you're over 50% ethanol. Point being you shouldn't need to adjust your timing tables for such small variances.

Fuel trim auto calibration makes sense on small variances. Good advice thanks.

I live in LA, I get e85 at the United Oil fuel station off National. I have the ability to check the e85 alcohol content at my work if you would like me too.

I don't know where the station you are talking about.
