Friday Traffic from San Jose to SF
I need to go to SF for work tomorrow and was wondering if anyone commutes from the South Bay to SF. I know traffic is normally pretty bad, but I don't have to be there until 11 so I was wondering if traffic would still be bad especially on a Friday around 9:30.
If it is bad I will probably just take Caltrain, but even Caltrain still takes an hour. |

it takes me 30-40 mins from my driveway in san mateo (near hillsdale) to SF (in my parking spot near chinatown) in the morning.
i leave at around 845am. get to work at 930am. (5-10 mins for starbucks) not sure how traffic is from sj to san mateo tho. |

101 stinks... always a damn accident and those stupid bauer busses are everywhere hogging the fast lanes...

Honestly, go with Caltrain. I used to do this with my commute to the city and even if it takes longer, it's nice to be able to relax and read the paper or get some work done.

i would say thats probably one of the worst times to go on 101. might have more of cahnce on 280 but not 100% sure. caltrain is probably a safe bet regardless.

yea maybe not. I'm at portsmouth and there are a few e9x's and a couple m3's there as well. Good to know another member is in the city though.
