USS Doris Miller CVN-81
Tomorrow the Nations newest Ford Class Super Carrier will be named in honor of Doris Miller. Most of us remember the Pearl Harbor movie from last decade which Cuba Gooding Jr portrayed Mr Miller. The story of Doris is a great American story which sheds needed light on the unequal treatment of Black Americans in WWII( specifically)
