Question about vishnu chip and warranty.

I read a post that BMW can see engine mods even if the engine mod is taken off before we go there. is this true? Is there a way to clear the memory before going to service?

In short Kyle is saying there are plenty of threads on the topic. The short answer is yes BMW can now with some degree of certainty be notified if your car exceeds certain performance parameters.
